Erin Hoffman received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2001 from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa and received her Master of Fine Arts degree in 2005 at the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. Both degrees are in printmaking.
Erin is currently a full-time art instructor at Muskegon Community College in Muskegon, Michigan. She teaches Art Appreciation, Drawing, Painting, Figure Drawing, Contemporary Art History, 2-d design, and Professional Practices in Art.
Erin has exhibited in over 60 group and solo exhibitions nationwide including most recently, “Singles and Multiples: Printed Work By Erin Hoffman” at the Mercy Gallery in Windsor, Connecticut and “Southern Graphics International, Juried Traveling Exhibition,” beginning it’s national and international tour in New Orleans, Louisiana.
She uses woodcut, lithography, and drawing as her primary media. Her work is meant to be an examination of contemporary society through the lens of American history.
